Well, it has been a debate for a long time because having dethroned Saddam the world may be compared to a beehive disturbed by a bear. And who plays the role of a bear is hard to judge because it depend on who’s side you are on.

Reading and watching news, interviews, political judgments and remarks it becomes obvious that some people forget of Iraq’s economy taking it as a background buzzing behind the debate over Iraq’s fate – its political and social stability and so wanted national and religious reconciliation.

OK, let’s take a look at one political side and select the one significant event that disturbs not only Iraqis many other people who live far away from this country and never even been to Iraq. This major political event going on in Iraq is the putting Saddam Hussein on trial.

Not all goes as smooth as wanted but should it be smooth? The defiance that Saddam shows in court may not really draw so much attention of the mass media as these acts of a dethroned impostor “king”. The fair trail that Iraq’s court is ought to conduct for Saddam is the option that this dictator experiences something that he would have never imposed on the inmates that his system eagerly used to imprison.

The economy of Iraq may also experiences something that economists would have dreamt of during Saddam’s times. Nowadays the economical life is recovering gradually as the economical sanctions are being taken off. The annoying insurgency is the major aspect that draws Iraq to anarchy and may be considered as a hindrance as Iraq starts to experience democracy Iraqi-style. But that’s democracy, not autocracy, tyranny or anarchy.

People who are delighted from Saddam’s defeat and who blindly regret Saddam’s removal from power may bring different scenarios about how Iraq will develop further. But definitely it is noticeable that everything in Iraq is experiencing new way of life. As Saddam is being put on trial and despite the atrocities that his thugs and felons imposed on Iraqi people he still is being put on fair trial. Yes, everything must be changed and have a strong foundation to secure and develop democracy long-term. Iraqi Dinar may little depend on how political events are being used to affect Iraqi economy.

Banking system headed by The Central Bank of Iraq has laws protecting its newborn currency from possible governmental arbitrariness if there is any or from aftermaths of insurgency. Yes, Iraqi Dinar has to overcome many obstacles that appeared on its way due to known circumstances but as the situation is Iraq is far from being absolutely stable yet there is one assertion that Iraqi Dinar is ignorant whether Saddam is put on trial or not, whether coalition troops and Iraqi army conduct military operation near Iraqi-Syrian border. Since Iraqi economy has to regain much by rebuilding its manufacturing and refining infrastructure and investing in developing of modern industry Iraqi Dinar will depend on how much oil Iraq sells and not how many Saddam’s is being put on trial.

So, do you think it’s how the trial over Saddam will affect Iraqi Dinar or how stable growth of Iraq and its economy will flourish?
